Mike Bizelli is a St. Louis-based freelance photographer. Photography was in his blood. His parents owned a portrait, wedding and photo-finishing studio in St. Charles, Missouri. Mike graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism in 1972. After a stint at the Carthage Missouri Press, he started an 18-year career as a photographer at the Ralston Purina Company in St. Louis. He photographed every kind of animal during that time. Mike started Bizelli Photography in 1995. His client list includes Fortune 500 companies, small businesses and non-profit organizations. He has documented over 100 animal rescues of one sort or another for the Humane Society of Missouri and the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). In 2022 Mike will celebrate 50 years as a professional photographer.
